The BC SPCA’s Victoria community animal centre, located at 3150 Napier Lane, will host an open house on May 2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This free (donations gratefully accepted), family-friendly event gives the community a chance to learn about and experience the BC SPCA’s many services and programs. Tickets are required for entry and are available at eventbrite.ca.
The event features a wide variety of activities including:
- Puppy and kitten cuddle lounges
- Interactive demonstrations from Animal Kind, Animal Protection, Emergency Services, BC SPCA Animal Helpline, Drives for Lives, Volunteer services and more
- A Wild ARC immersive enclosure replica and the premiere of a Wild Arc video
- Farm & Equine – meet the farm welfare and care service teams
- Games and activities for kids from Humane Education
- Local vegetarian and vegan community food trucks
- Giveaways and more!
