The BC SPCA’s Abbotsford Branch is seeking your help with medical costs for Mister, who has lived a rough life roaming around on his own.
Mister was found on a property when he tried desperately to get into a home searching for a warm and safe place to rest his injured body. The homeowner noticed that Mister was limping and he was brought into SPCA care. Mister will need to have his front leg amputated, his jaw wired due to fracture, oral surgery and a neuter.
“Mister is so incredibly grateful to be in our care. He’s now safe, warm, fed, receiving attention, and vet care so he is no longer in pain. He loves attention and if you stop petting him he will give you this adorable look asking for more,” says SPCA Abbotsford branch manager Sarah Ringer.
Medical costs for Mister are estimated to be about $3,272 and he will spend at least eight weeks recovering from his surgery in a foster home before he’s ready to be adopted. “Mister would like nothing more than to live without pain in a home with a family. He gets along well with other cats and loves people,” says Ringer.
