The Board of Directors oversees the business of the BC SPCA by establishing policies, rules and regulations to carry out the powers of the society pursuant to the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and the Constitution and Bylaws of the Society (PDF).
The Board is currently composed of Regional Directors and Directors at Large. Directors serve a three-year term and are eligible for a further term of three years, to a maximum of six years in office. All directors must be members of the BC SPCA.
