The BC SPCA is seeking the public’s help in solving the case of a deceased domestic short-haired black cat approximately 8 to 10 years old found at a truck break-stop along Highway 33 near Kelowna. After being alerted by a member of the public, an SPCA animal protection officer attended the location and found the deceased animal.
Brian Kijowski, regional manager of cruelty investigations for the Okanagan/Interior region, says the cat was found in suspicious circumstances. “We cannot provide more details at this time, but we are urging anyone with knowledge of the situation to please contact the BC SPCA Animal Helpline at 1.855.665.7722.
