Dear caring friend,
As we prepare to close out the year, I would like to share a final message of deep gratitude for your compassion and care for animals in 2025. There are many meaningful ways you choose to show up for the animals in your life every day, and each one of them matters.
Whether it’s caring for a beloved companion at home, adding your name to a petition, or taking a moment to look out for local wildlife, your loving kindness makes a real difference. It might mean volunteering your time to help animals in need, generously giving to support vital programs, or donating supplies to a pet food bank or your local centre. Sometimes it’s simply keeping animals in your heart and making kinder choices whenever you can.
However you choose to be there for the animals in our communities, your compassionate care makes British Columbia a brighter place for animals and people to thrive.
This holiday season, and throughout the year, you ensure animals are safe, loved, protected and exactly where they should be. Thank you for being part of this kind and generous community of animal lovers.
I hope you enjoy this video featuring many of the lives you’ve transformed this year. It certainly put a smile on my face.
Here’s to more care, compassion and change in the year ahead.
Together for the animals who need us.
