Does spending the day at one of our Animal Centres, helping our teams and making a positive impact on the lives of the animals in our care, sound like the ideal day for you and your colleagues? Then register for a BC SPCA Many Paws Volunteer Day!
Your group will enjoy a fulfilling experience and gain a deeper understanding of animal welfare, including interactions with the animals in our care*.
By taking part in BC SPCA Many Paws Volunteer Day, you’ll not only engage in a wonderful team-building experience but also make a meaningful difference in the process.
Average schedule for a Many Paws Volunteer Day:
- 10:00 a.m.—Arrival
- Introduction to the BC SPCA
- Animal Centre tour
- Volunteer Activities (general maintenance and upkeep tasks around the centre, for example, cleaning, gardening, and meal preparation)
- Lunch (provided)
- Volunteer activities continued
- Time with animals (*This is dependent on the animals your selected centre has in their care at the time)
- Thank you and photo session.
- 4:00 p.m.—Corporate Volunteer Day ends
Cost
We request a minimum donation of $3,000 from your company to cover arranging the day, supervision and activities. If your company is a long-time supporter of the BC SPCA, please submit an application form, and we will assess it on a case-by-case basis.
