Patches

Beautiful Patches was one of seven kitties who were surrendered to the BC SPCA East Kootenay Animal Centre on November 13, 2018. We often use our Drive for Lives program to transfer animals to larger centres to give them a better chance to meet potential adopters.

That’s how Patches happened to be at the BC SPCA Victoria Community Animal Centre when she met her forever family. After her spay, she went home with her new people on December 8, 2018. They wrote to share how Patches is settling in:

“We were looking to give a cat a forever home. Out of three who were there, our Patches was the only one without medical problems and she warmed up to me immediately.

She has become the most adorable cat to us. She loves to sit between us on the couch, get her belly rubbed, snuggle and wrap herself around my arm at about 5:00 a.m. in bed and will let me know when she wants to get brushed.

We adore her. This Tortoiseshell will not sit on a lap, is very independent, taps my arm when she wants treats at night and tells us off if we raise our voices at each other.

Patches will be with us forever.”

Every companion animal deserves a family who feels about them the way you do about your Patches. We strive to find a forever home for all animals in our care. Thank you for choosing to adopt and may you and Patches enjoy many years together.
