Our lives are more full when we have our animal counterparts around.
Erin and Christopher knew this to be true and wanted to provide a loving home to a kitten in need.
So, when they met Pound Cake at the BC SPCA South Okanagan/Similkameen Branch in November 2019, they couldn’t resist making their lives a little sweeter.
It has now been three months, and Erin and Christopher would never look back. Erin has provided us with an update on how Pound Cake has settled in with his new parents:
This is Pound Cake, the destroyer of shoes and the king of naps.
When he’s not snuggling up to us as close as possible, we find Pound Cake with his little green mouse or any shoelace he can get a hold of. He loves to give us kisses and he is currently working on fine tuning his hunting and leaping skills every day.
We brought Pound Cake into his furever home last November and fell immediately in love. He has brought a new energy into our home and gives us endless laughter. We can’t imagine our home without him now. Thank you to the members of the BC SPCA for bringing this sweet little bean into our lives.
Thank you, Erin and Christopher, for adopting Pound Cake and welcoming him as a part of your family. We can see just how loved he truly is and adore seeing his personality flourish. We know Pound Cake will give you infinite affection and will give your shoes endless nightmares for years to come.
