Cassie and her family were visiting the BC SPCA Williams Lake & District Branch one day and inquired about Mocha, a beautiful, two-year-old, chocolate point Siamese cat.

Mocha knew we weren’t doing her story justice when we told Cassie and her family about her, so she took it upon herself to tell them all about what she had been through, to end up in our care.

Of course, Cassie and her family listened and, naturally, fell in love with this chatty cat. In August 2019, they brought her home from the BC SPCA Williams Lake & District Branch.

Just a couple of weeks later, Cassie sent us an update on how Mocha is settling in:

Mocha has come to join our family, her forever home. She has been such a sweet and loving addition. She is quite chatty, which is the reason I fell in love with her “story” when we met her. She has such a soft and gentle voice.

At nighttime, Mocha does not talk very much—instead, she mostly sleeps by our legs. In typical cat fashion, she stretches out and takes up as much of our king size bed as she possibly can.

She settled in during the first half hour of arriving at her new home, soon rolling around, asking for belly rubs and chatting up a storm.

Mocha adores the attention of her humans and she always demands to be pet and loved. We have no problem giving her as much as she wants. She is super happy and content. We could not have asked for a better fit for the family.
