Sharing your home and your love with an animal is one of the most rewarding experiences this world has to offer.

When Megan and her family visited the BC SPCA Kamloops Branch in November 2018, they couldn’t help but fall in love with Lulu, a gorgeous young tortoiseshell kitten.

It didn’t take long at all for Lulu to settle right in at her new home. Just over a month on, Megan has now written to us to share an update on their lives with Lulu:

When we brought Lulu home for the first time she couldn’t stop purring!

Since we adopted Lulu, she is so full of energy and love. She is like my shadow—she follows me everywhere. I could not have imagined a more perfect addition to my little family.

Within our first few days together, Lulu was already bouncing around, climbing all over her cat posts and quite happy to have her own spot in bed at night.

Every night we get into bed, Lulu climbs up on my pillow and purrs in my ear until she falls asleep. In the mornings, she runs everywhere because she just can’t contain her excitement for her breakfast.

There is never a dull moment with this little kitty around. Lulu never fails to make me laugh.

I have so much love and appreciation for this little girl. I can’t imagine a day without her.
