Wild animals continue to lose their homes and their habitats while we wait for laws to protect them. There is not enough money or political support for rehabilitating animals or protecting and restoring habitat for species at risk.

The data to know if current efforts are making a difference is rare and inconsistent. After eight years of government discussion about a provincial endangered species law, there is still no action.
Soon, the government will release an intentions paper on Species-at-Risk and they want to hear from British Columbians. We need you to provide feedback to ensure the legislation moves forward with the right intentions. Sign up for action alerts to be notified!
