Welcome to the BC SPCA in Victoria. We are one of 41 BC SPCA locations across the province serving sick, neglected, abused and homeless animals. Whether you are looking to adopt a new furry friend into your family or would like to know more about how you can make difference for animals in our community, we are here to help. The BC SPCA is a not-for-profit organization which relies primarily on community donations to help animals in need. Please join us in the fight against animal cruelty!

We are grateful for the support of the City of Victoria in granting a permissive property tax exemption.

*Wild animal drop offs:

Some injured or orphaned wild animals can be dropped off at the Victoria Center for transport to Wild ARC. Due to animal health and safety protocols, the following wild animals are not accepted at Victoria Center: bats, deer fawns, wild Eastern Cottontail rabbits, domestic feral rabbits, and adult river otters, mink, beavers, weasels and raccoons.

Wild animals dropped off at the Victoria Centre must be safely contained prior to arrival and a wild animal intake form must be completed through the BC SPCA Animal Helpline. On arrival, please ring the doorbell and a staff member will assist you at the door.

Respectfully acknowledging that the BC SPCA in Victoria is located on the unceded traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ (Saanich) and Lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) People of the Songhees and Xwsepsum (Esquimalt) Nations whose historical relationships to the land continues today.
