James Roderick Watt
October 22, 1947 – May 24th, 2024
James Roderick Watt passed peacefully from this world on May 24th, 2024. He was born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan on October 22, 1947.
He was a gifted man of many talents, among them being a shipwright, a cabinetmaker, a sculptor, an award-winning cartoonist, a paramedic, and a cafe owner.
While he had many jobs, there was one passion that always stayed with him, and that was his enduring love of animals. He loved them, and they loved him back. He was always interested in the natural world, so birds also figured prominently in that regard.
When he was nearing the end of his life, he was specific that he wanted to leave a nice donation to the Cowichan BC SPCA.
I miss the cat videos he would send me regularly.
