Ryland was about two years old when he came to the BC SPCA Vernon Branch in the spring of 2017. Without much information on his background, he was a bit of a mystery.
But, it turned out Ryland had a very bright personality and a big, shining heart to go with it. He loved to play and spend time with people, spreading joy and affection to everyone in the shelter.
This handsome, young dog had the energy of a pup. He enjoyed long walks and exercise, so he would need guardians who matched this active lifestyle to keep him as happy as he could be.
On May 31, 2017, he found his new forever guardians. They sent us an update recently to let us know how he has been doing:
When we first adopted Ryland, the world was all new to him.
He has now learned to play with other dogs, play in the yard, and go hiking.
His loving and trusting personality shines through more and more each day as we go on new adventures.
It’s so great to hear that he didn’t have any trouble settling into his new forever home.
We’re so glad that you’ve introduced him to new activities like hiking where he can get the exercise he needs to burn off some of that wonderful energy.
Thank you for giving Ryland his second chance at a forever home and making adoption your first choice.
