Emergency Care
In the sea of Cyber Monday deals, we bring you something heart-warmingly different – a box full of adorable kittens (five to be exact!). You can become part of their story today.

These sweethearts came into care in a box, brought by a kind animal-lover much like you who found them abandoned. At first we thought they were half their real age, they were that tiny and skinny!
At a month old, most of this hungry group were happy to eat a mix of soft kitten food with formula. As you can imagine things got messy quickly! But a full belly can do wonders for bringing comfort to a young one, and these kittens were no different. Your heart would have melted, seeing them slowly nestle into a big pile for a snooze after their first meal.

One of the tiniest of the group needed the most attention and was carefully bottle-fed formula by staff for days. He seemed hungrier for physical contact than the food itself and would only eat when he was being lovingly held.

Mama was at-large in the community so it took a few extra days to bring her into care. The reunion was so heart-warming. Fay jumped straight back into her mothering duties of grooming her babies and making sure everyone had the food and attention they needed.
Fay is a wonderful mum and always makes sure her kittens have filled up on food before she takes her share. Sadly she isn’t producing much milk, but she still lets her little ones nurse – a comforting and bonding activity.

Fay demonstrates that being loving and present is always more important than being perfect. Despite the challenges she’s lived through herself, this brave mama cat continues showing up for her babies. There’s so much we can learn from the animals around us. They teach us every day how to be a better person – we’re sure you’ve experienced something similar.

This adorable crew is growing up so fast! They’ve been placed into an experienced foster home to give them the attention they need, and more space for kitten zoomies. One minute they’re in a deep slumber, the next they’re sprinting laps around the room. These tiny purr machines can often be found “hunting” each other’s tails, chasing a piece of lint or sleeping while their little bodies grow.

We have no doubt these five kittens will bring joy, laughter and entertainment to their new families this holiday season. Will you provide them with the loving care this little family needs until they are ready to find their forever homes?
