The BC SPCA developed the AnimalKind accreditation program for wildlife and rodent pest control companies to recommend companies that use the most animal-friendly methods.
We have also developed a series of reference sheets on best practices for wildlife and rodent control operators. These documents clarify which methods are legal and illegal in B.C., and which of the legal methods are recommended for use by the BC SPCA. They also answer questions about humane pest control.
