Don’t miss out on this amazing pawty for two – and four-legged furriends alike! Animal lovers are invited to join us at our Tri-Cities Paws for a Cause event at Lafarge Lake in Coquitlam on Sunday, Sept. 9. Presented by Hill’s® Science Diet®, this three-kilometre walk boasts a dog-friendly beer garden area, face painting, a delicious selection of vegan, vegetarian and SPCA Certified foods, doggie games and more.
“There will be so much to do at this event, which supports the BC SPCA’s Tri-Cities Branch,” says Tess Repenning, BC SPCA manager, peer to peer and community fundraising. “You can enjoy a beverage, eat some delicious food, play games and get to know the animal lovers in your community who are committed to helping in the fight against animal cruelty.”
Whether you’re signing up individually, with a bunch of friends, or as a corporate group, Repenning says it pays to register ahead. “It’ll guarantee you a spot at this difference-making event. Plus, if you’re looking for tips and tricks to fundraise, we have a number of resources to help you meet your goals. It means so much to us to see people band together in support of our province’s domestic, farm and wild animals.”
The BC SPCA wishes to thank this event’s local sponsor, Maillardville Animal Hospital, as well as our generous provincial Paws sponsors: Hill’s® Science Diet®; CTV, Petsecure; PwC and TV Week.
