She was brought in by a someone who had seen her limping in her yard for nearly two weeks. She was completely unable to put any weight on her front right leg due to a terrible break.
The owner never responded to attempted contacts, but the neighbour let us know that all the owners had ever called her was “Dog.” They never bothered to give her a name.
In typical Labrador fashion, despite the painfully obvious lack of care, this ‘dog’ is pure love. It is impossible to know how anyone could have let her suffer the way she had.
Can you imagine not even bothering to name your precious fur-baby? We’ve helped with her suffering and now we would love you to help us with a name. Please submit your name suggestions by end of day (11:59pm), Wednesday, December 19, and we will draw a winner.
