Grace passed away on April 8, 2008. She was born in Vulcan, Alberta, August 21, 1939. Grace was a loving mother to her daughter and four sons as well as a loving grandmother to her grandchildren. She had a great love of animals from an early age. Grace adopted, cared for and loved various cats and dogs. On several occasions she rescued stray animals and brought them to her home on East 16th Ave in Vancouver. Grace taught her children and grandchildren to love and respect all creatures great and small. It was her wish to leave a legacy for the BC SPCA to care for the animals she loved so much.
