Hopkins, Noel C passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver on Saturday February 23, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Noel was born in Chesterton, England in 1926 and came to Canada over 50 years ago. When Noel arrived in Canada he took a position with the Department of Fisheries. After his retirement from the sea, Noel moved to Kelowna to purchase and operate his own orchard in the Black Mountain area. He was sadly predeceased by his loving wife Noreen in 1998. Noel was a kind and generous man who had a great fondness for all creatures great and small.
