Jacqueline M. Sutherland lost her gallant battle with cancer on Jan 8, 2009.
Jacqueline was born in Vancouver January 10, 1962, where she lived until moving to Kelowna in 2001. Her professional career included tenure at Pacific Press, McCarthy Tetrault, Canadian Airlines, and, ultimately, as Executive Assistant to Anthony von Mandl, proprietor of Mission Hill Family Estate and founder of the Mark Anthony Group.
Jacqueline liked to scuba dive, golf, walk, cook and travel. Her exuberance, sparkling personality, thoughtfulness and smile endeared her to so many people.
Jacqueline loved animals. In addition to the BC SPCA, she was a proud supporter of the WWF. Her legacy that will ensure that in addition to her bequest to the BC SPCA, monthly contributions will continue to both organizations.
There was never a time in Jacqueline’s life that pets were not a part of the family.
Jacqueline is survived by her loving husband Michael, her mother Anne, sister Kathy, two nieces and two dearly loved cats ‘Tort’ & ‘Zee’.
