After a hectic life in turbulent post-war Germany, Inga Martin fled to Canada in 1994 to rest. The childless widow, stranger in a bewildering country, gave lots of love to her beautiful dog “Bella”. However, her dream of a quite, peaceful evening of life did not come true. Inga died of a sudden heart attack alone in her beautiful West Vancouver home in 2003. In her Will, she gave generously to the BC SPCA. We mourn the loss of her presence and vitality. Her gift will leave a legacy of caring and compassion for the animals.
