Whitney came under the care of the BC SPCA Nanaimo & District Branch in the spring of 2017 when she was about 10-years-old. She was a mature cat that was ready to settle down into a new forever home that would suit her needs.
She was searching for guardians who could provide a quiet environment for her where she could lounge about and relax. As she was growing a bit older, she needed some extra loving care in maintaining a hypo-allergenic diet and monthly flea control checks.
Whitney found her new forever home in May 2017. Her guardians wrote to us to let us know how she has been settling in:
Whitney, now known as Winnie, is a sweet girl but I have to say I have never had such a vocal cat!
She loves lots of attention and is quite playful for a ‘middle-aged’ girl. Her favourite game is playing in the bedding so making the bed takes a little longer these days.
She is settling in nicely and her fur is growing back now that she is on a hypoallergenic diet and flea control.
She is a little beauty and we’re happy she’s part of our family.
We’re happy to hear that Winnie is all settled in and that you’re giving her the love and attention she thrives on. Thank you for caring and for looking after her needs so carefully, we can tell you’re her perfect fit and the forever family she was looking for. We really appreciate you and the many others who continue to grow their furry families through adoption.
