When October the tuxedo cat was surrendered to the BC SPCA Burnaby Branch in the fall of 2018, not only did we notice her shy yet sweet personality, but also admired her elegant, long legs!
Limbs aside, it appeared that once October learned to trust those showing her affection, she wasn’t afraid to give them her undivided attention in return.
One day that autumn, a woman named Giulia came to the shelter and she couldn’t help but become instantly infatuated with beautiful October.
Giulia has now given us an update to share about her life with her new feline companion:
In barely two months, October has gone from a timid cat with very long legs to an outgoing and affectionate ball of fluff. I could not imagine my life without her.
Thank you, Giulia, for choosing adoption as your first option. It appears that love is what fluffs up October’s fur! It’s truly amazing what a difference we see in our pets once they feel loved and safe.
