Christina Signe MacDonald was a great lover of all animals. Her first animal as a child was a dog called Dinty which she and her 4 brothers loved dearly. She had other dogs and cats as well during her 100 years here on earth. At her passing she had two cats, a beautiful Persian male called Chi Chi and a female calico called Gi Gi. Christina entrusted these special cats to the Abbotsford branch of the BC SPCA upon her passing, so she was definitely looking ahead for her cats!
Christina was born on Sept. 4th, 1906 and passed away on July 12th, 2007. This picture was taken on her 100th birthday celebration with family and friends. Her longevity was due to a healthy lifestyle, a great sense of humor, and keeping up with current events – she just didn’t want to miss anything. She never had any children but left behind many nieces and nephews. She survived two husbands, as well as four brothers and their wives. She will be missed by all of us remaining but she will live forever in our hearts.
