Dasher was only five months old when he arrived into the care of the Campbell River BC SPCA as a stray in December 2016. This sweet boy was found alone in a diaper box off a trail not too far from the street.

Although Dasher came to us under unfortunate circumstances, we knew a puppy like him, so full of energy and love, would find a forever home in no time. Sure enough, after being in care for only a week, Dasher found his perfect match.

Since his adoption, Dasher (now Harley) has been able to let his energy-filled personality shine. His guardians recently sent us a happy update on how he is doing. From the sounds of it, he’s having all the fun in the world:

We are very happy to welcome Harley – formally known as Dasher to our family.

He is a bundle of energy and loves to play and go for long walks. Harley is very social and loves to make new friends. He is certainly a great motivator in helping us to become more active.

Harley is such a loving boy, he loves to cuddle and is smart as a whip, although a bit stubborn, he learns things quickly but not as quick to implement what he is learning, as he likes to do things his way.

We are looking forward to him meeting the rest of our family when they come to visit from Ontario.

We are so happy to hear this puppy is learning and growing in such a caring forever home. With that face, we’re sure it’s hard not to let him get his way sometimes!
